About Skye
I’m Skye — a mother of two, postpartum doula, and a deeply intuitive, empathetic support person for women moving through motherhood.
I live on the Central Coast with my husband, our two boys, a pair of much-loved dogs, and a very senior cat. It was through my own postpartum journey that my calling to support other mothers became impossible to ignore.
Motherhood has shaped me in ways I never expected. My experience has held grief, growth, anxiety, healing, and profound transformation. I’ve experienced loss, a long and challenging first birth, birth trauma I didn’t initially recognise, and later, a deeply empowering and positive birth — followed by postnatal anxiety that took me by surprise.
Walking through both a difficult beginning and a dream birth taught me something important: there is no “right” way for motherhood to unfold, and no experience that makes support unnecessary.
During my second pregnancy and beyond, I committed to my own healing and nervous-system care through meditation, pregnancy yoga, doula support, education, and learning to truly trust my body. That work changed everything — not by removing challenge, but by helping me meet it with more safety, awareness, and self-trust.
It was through living both ends of the spectrum — the hard and the deeply healing — that I came to this work.
I offer practical, emotional, and intuitive support to mothers — at home, out in the world, and in whatever way support is needed in that season.
I notice what’s beneath the surface. I listen closely. I meet women where they are, not where they think they should be.
Alongside my lived experience, I’ve completed Mental Health First Aid certification and formal postpartum care training through Newborn Mothers. My learning continues — because motherhood isn’t static, and neither is the work of supporting it.
This work isn’t about fixing or saving.
It’s about presence, honesty, and walking alongside women as they find their footing in motherhood.
